Опубликована первая альфа-сборка новой версии www-браузера Opera с номером 9.5 и кодовым именем Kestrel. Новая версия — не просто рядовое обновление, а значительный шаг вперед. В этой версии: улучшено общее качество работы программы (огромное множество разнообразных улучшений, в том числе и направленных на повышение скорости рендеринга страниц); значительно усовершенствован поиск по истории; оптимизировано отображение сайтов; улучшенная совместимость с операционными системами; переработки в Opera Mail и множество прочих улучшений и исправлений.
Что такое Opera? Популярный браузер от разработчиков из холодной Норвегии. За годы существования обзавелся целой армией поклонников (если не сказать фанатов). Имеет собственное, весьма шустрое ядро, благодаря которому способен очень быстро обрабатывать страницы. По сравнению с Internet Explorer, Opera работает гораздо быстрее. Быстрый рендеринг страниц не единственное достоинство Оперы. В арсенале программы имеется куча всевозможных функций как на прямую связанных с отображением страниц, так и дополнительных: клиент для P2P-сети BitTorrent, простенький менеджер загрузки файлов, IRC-клиент, RSS-клиент, система виджетов (небольшие приложения типа всяких календариков, калькуляторов, записных книжек и т. д. в таком духе).

нууу я не знаю чо там они доработали ,, ноо СБРОСИЛИСЬ ВСЕ МОИ ЗАКЛАДКИ !!!! , коих набралось за тысячу !!.. И со кинами тоже проблемы .. короч - бред !
Да, быстрее, но вот лажа - утилита её не палит, и её кэш не очищает, и при удолении временных файлов её папки остаются не тронутыми, а потом - где русский язык то? она вся значительно легче, но орезанна на нужных вещах. Один плюс - люди с медленным инетом ощутят небольшое ускорение при открывании узлов. На интеграцию Доунлода уже не стал проверять, тех недостатков хватило. Да и при установке ставится как ещё один браузер =))) будет стоять две Оперы ))) ... - по моему лажа.
Alexizz - а твои закладки не сбросились. Как ты запустишь ту Оперу, какая была (если ты её не снёс, то она и ща у тебя есть) откроются все твои закладки. Поскольку этот браузер устанавливается не поверх старой Оперы. И даже если ты всё-таки снёс старую версию Оперы поставь её и закладки оживут, как и др. настройки. (конечно если не затёр все концы)))
Тут же синим по белому написано, что это Alpha-версия! Вы хотите, что бы у вас все работало без глюков?? Если ставить не кривыми руками, то закладки останутся... А если ставить поверх старой - то сами будете виноваты, так вам и надо...Ждите релиза и будет вам счастье!
